A staged political event

Now this is something that I've noticed when it comes to the latest political events, and that is that the people that get to ask the president his questions are the ones that are screened first to  make sure that everything is dealing only with the event and nothing else. Give you an example, yesterday (06/14/12) the President was being asked questions through Twitter, and I took the chance to ask one, mine was dealing with the Bush Tax Cuts which everyone under the sun knows only deals with the rich only, and scews out the average American Joe like you and I.

Well suffice it to say that not only didn't get seen, all of the answers to any questions that he was having were all towards things that he's currently dealing with for the presidential race. The question that I asked him was passed over and wasn't dealing with the electin at all. However that's more than likely what all of them are going to be like. They grab a few people from the audience and make sure that their questions only deal with what's currently going on right then and the fight that he's having to put up with while running for reelection. Problem is, this isn't just something that happens to be a Democratic thing either, it's this way for all of the political parties out there, and I highly doubt that it's going to be stopping any time soon. After all with screened questions, not only can they be able to keep thing the way that they should be towards an election, it allows the person to keep saying what they've been saying for ages.

Personally I would like to issue a challenge here, and this challenge is going to both candidates, after all I'm not a democrat or republican, I'm a party that I started myself called the Tomorrow Party. The challenge is this, why not come here to Martinez, CA where I live and walk among the lowly middle and lower classes and see how things are for us, after all it's not like everyone here is into politics which means that you might actually get to find out what our world is really like, which is nothing like what you've been dealing with when it comes to those that are there at each of your fundraisers.

So take it or leave it, the choice is up to the both of you, after all Im offering you something that not a whole lot of people actually think about. The chance to see a world not their own.

Now I know that this might seems like something that's out of the norm for me, but I realized that when it comes right down to it, this is in truth dealing with the every day lay person. I had a chat with my sister when it came to this, namely because I had a different idea in mind, what the idea was was to see if I could get her to let me know what Massachusetts was like under governor Romney, however what I discovered instead was that not only was she not into politics at all, she didn't know l anything about what was going on and never kept up. Now personally for me I'm actually fairly new to the whole world of politics in the first place, so half the time I just end up going by what I see in the news and hear through my Twitter updates on my cell.

Problem is that when comes right down to politics, it's now my firm understanding that the vast majority of the people out there really have no clue as to what in the world is really going on, and quite frankly really could give a rats ass less about what's going on as well. I know that's going to be hard for the politicians that might read this blog, but it's a fact.

Personally I believe that both the Republicans and the Democrats have completely lost touch with the average person out there, I mean I've been seeing so far videos online from the Obama campaign that's using archived footage of Romney from before when he was in Mass, to today while he's running for President, and in all honesty, the videos are making him look like a complete idiot. Now I for one already think that Republicans are idiots, after all all they want to do is keep the money for themselves and don't really care who they burn over as they get it, after all these are the same people that honestly still believe that Reagonmics actally happens to work when in fact if one uses a little bit of logic, they'll see that when the CEO's are given the money, it stays with them, no one below them gets any kind of raises at all. That's how that works in the first place and won't ever be changing any time soon, after all those that think it works say that Clinton had a surplus of money from that, no he just knew how to balance the books, and that's what got us the surplus of money. After all look at what happened after Clinton left and we had a republican in office running the show, everything went down hill fast, and we're talking warp speed fast. Not only did Bush put us into a war that really wasn't needed in the least, but at the same time, he put us so far in debt they're now blaming Obama for it when in fact he got it from Bush. However he hasn't been able to do anything with it, because everything that he tries to do gets stonewalled like crazy by the republicans that are currently in power right now. Though from what my understanding currently happens to be, democrats are trying to get back control and get things back in order, however no one knows if that's actually going to happen or not, it's a wait a see deal here.

Now even I'm not saying that the democrats are any better than the republicans, because in truth they're not, but at least they try to work towards getting things to go our way (really can't say the same for the republicans at all). However they have one slight problem with trying to get things there for us, and that's the fact that they like to tax the crap out off everything. Now I honestly do believe in taxing, but not to the point that it's going to hurt everything. No you never tax that high in the least, always tax lower, just enough to make sure that the person getting taxed (the average person that you're getting the money from in the first place) can be able to at least make a small living and be able to provide for their families. After all we're not talking about the individual here, we're talking about those that happen to be with families and are getting hurt the most. After all, all of the taxes right now are set up, so that instead of it going by if the person has a family or not, they're going by the fact that everyone is single, in which case they are most definitely not. Look at me, I'm married with a wife and son, and even though I currently don't have a job right now, I know that I need to get one in order to be able to make a living, but at the same time I also fear getting one, because these days I'll more than likely have to get two jobs in order to be able to fully make ends meet which by it's self happens to suck big time.

Now there is one political party that the republicans seemed to have latched onto, and that's the TEA party (or Taxed Enough Already). Now the only problem with this group is that they believe that the budget can be handled simply by cuts alone and not having to tax anyone for the money. Well here's the problem to that in the first place, if you cut only, where is the money going to come from in order to get things running again, after all if you think that the money from that which is cut will simply go towards other programs, from what I've learned, wrong. Once the cuts are made, that money just goes right back into the politicians pockets and no where else.

Now on another note, I caught sight this banner out side of a home as I was heading back to the Downtown area of Martinez, and it got me to thinking about what's currently going on over there, and the fact that if we actually let another republican in office right now, they're basically telling the people that they don't give a crap about us because it's going to be all about the money, and we will never factor in. Personally I say fire those that not only want to extend the Bush tax cuts (the vast majority of the republicans), but also for those that want to keep this war going on for far longer than it really should have in the first place.

Look like it or not, don't care about what's going on around you, but realize and understand this, that those that are currently in any office right now, are there only because we put them in there in the first place and they don't care, so why should we care about their carrers, I say fire those that don't want to work for us by voting them out in the first place.
