Hold out for the GOP Convention

Hey all, the only reason why I haven't posted anything here in a while (with the exception of the occasional local politics), is because I'm waiting for the Republicans to tear them selves apart when it comes to the race to be the next GOP contender to face Obama. The Republicans want control back over all of the national government, however the one problem that they face (and don't want to own up to) is that they can't run the government right.

Now I know that all of you would be saying that we prospered under Regan, well the truth of the matter was, we were also in the middle of a war during his time (along with Bush Sr. as well). Plus his faults (which I can't list here at the moment) out weigh his good deeds that he's done in the past. Basically the one president that we've had that everything actually started looking up during was Clinton, namely because he stopped a war that had been given to him from Bush, and he balanced the budget. Though some of you would say that it was the whole Reaganomics thing that gave him that surplus in the first place, no actually Reaganomics doesn't work and never will. After all you don't give money to millionaires and expect them to start paying their employees more money, hell no once they get that money they don't ever want to give it up except for pay taxes and that's it. No, Clinton knew how to balance a budget and that's what gave us the surplus of money that Bush Jr killed in the first place.

No who ever ends up getting the GOP Nomination I will do everything in my power to shred them like crazy, and right now there's only 2 1/12 major contenders (I say half because I know for a fact that Gingrich isn't going to get the nomination despite him continuing to stay in the race). Plus the one thing that both Romney and Santorum want in the first place is to tear down something that has actually worked since this country was first started and that was the separation of church and state which is subtly stated in the first amendment (though of course the Christen Church wants to mostly get rid of this and prevent any other religion from being here in the United States in the first place). Romney is Mormen which doesn't help him at the current time, but that's taking a back seat anyway, namely because he may end up getting the nomination in the end.

Either way, I'm just waiting for the GOP convention to find out who gets the main nomination and then shred them like crazy. If not for Obama, we would still be in Iraq right now, since a Republican would've left us over there and said to hell with any exit date. After all being over there gave their people more money that they shouldn't have in the first place, but hey that's just what I tend to think on the whole thing.
